Clinker

Clinker in Portland cement production is heated grains, usually 3-25 mm (diameter), formed by heating limestone and aluminum silicate (clay) during the cement kiln stage.

Clinker is one of the raw materials of cement production and is a process product and it is used in cement composition according to the type of cement. In general, cement is prepared in two ways: wet and dry. In the wet method, the raw materials (clinker) are mixed and ground in water, and in the dry method, the raw materials (clinker) are mixed and ground in a dry state.

To produce it, limestone must first be exploded with dynamite, and after extraction in special crushers, it must be gradually crushed. Stone powder is mixed with clay slurry in ball mills. In this method of grinding, the stone is crushed gently and turns into round, and the resulting slurry is directed to special tanks. These materials are welded together and form balls of 4 to 30 mm in size, which are called furnace slag or clinker.

The main activity of Abbasi Trading Company is the export of clinker, which in the last 8 years has managed to export more than one billion clinker to all parts of the world. This company started its clinker export in 2012 and has been ranked as the top clinker exporter from South Pars port.
