BITUMEN

It is a black, sticky and paste-like substance that is used in insulating moisture and making asphalt. There are different types of bitumen, each of which has a specific application.

Bitumen is a petroleum derivative and is often produced in an oil refinery. This substance is black to dark brown in color and dissolves completely in carbon sulfide and carbon tetrachloride. Bitumen is solid at ambient temperature. But as the temperature increases, it turns into a paste and then becomes liquid.

Bitumen is produced in two ways: 1. Direct execution, 2. Blowing air, which is done based on a partial or continuous process.

Bitumen packaging methods include barrels, polybags, bulk and jumbobags.
